Swingamajig consists of John Previti on bass, Kent Stax on drums, and Wilfredo Morales on guitar. Their careers span a wide variety of genres and artists.
John’s career began in 1976 with Danny Gatton. John played with him over a span of 18 years. In 2002, John Previti received the Washington Area Musicians Award for best musician in the Metro area. From Southern Maryland, Previti has performed with Charlie Byrd, Herb Ellis, Les Paul, and with the great trumpeter, Doc Cheatham. Previti has also recorded with Paul Simon among many others.
